| The GMS Rowing
Center is an innovative new rowing club
located on the tranquil waters of Lake Lillinonah, in New Milford,
CT. Miles upon miles of protected water and beautiful scenery provide
a perfect venue for all rowers - from novices just getting acquainted
with this fast growing sport, to juniors, college rowers home for
the summer, and adults, as well as elite competitors. This tranquil
setting is ideal for focusing on technique, conditioning in preparation
for upcoming races, and the sheer enjoyment of the sport. The sizable
lake allows for long-distance rowing with minimal turning. A 3500
sq. ft boathouse, protected dock and launch area, as well as ample
parking complete the picture of this inviting new club. |
